Thomas Blair was born in Ahoghill county Antrim Ireland. Unknown when he came to Iowa. He lived with his brother Andrew. Thomad was a blacksmith and a horse bumped him and he lost his balanace and fell into and anvil. He ended up in the Clarinda State Mental Hospital until his death in 1936. He is buried in the cemetery at the hospital in Cladrinda Iowa.
