The Clinton Herald Saturday March 14, 1998 p. 9 Grace I. Disbrow, 93, of the Alverno Health Care Facility, died Friday at the home. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Episcopal Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Diane Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Pallbearers will be family and friends. She was born Feb. 22, 1905, in Clinton, to William B. and Ethel V. Chenoweth Disbrow. She graduated from Lyons High School. She received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., and her master's degree from the University of Iowa. She taught at Lyons Junior High School for 40 years retiring in 1969. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, St. Faith's Guild of Grace, the Clinton County Retired Teacher's Association and the Clinton Women's Club. Survivors indlcue a sister, Mary Disbrow of Clinton. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Death date: March 13, 1998.
