Harry Carter Henry, 77, of Pleasant Hill, died in Illini Community hospital in Pittsfield Sunday night, May 13. He had been an invalid for the past two years.
Mr. Henry, a son of John Anderson and Ardelia Lewis Henry, was born near Nebo, July 31, 1885. He had lived in Pleasant Hill since the early years of his life. He was a member of the Methodist church. He never married and had made his home with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Buell Shive for several years.
Surviving are two brothers, James of Rockport and Ralph of Pleasant Hill, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Shive and Mrs. J. L. (Maude) Laugharn of Pleasant Hill.
Funeral services were held in Ward funeral chapel in Pleasant Hill Tuesday afternoon at 3 with the Rev. Rodney Miller officiating. Burial was in Crescent Heights cemetery.
