MARY HARTMANN

Mary Hartmann, 84, formerly of 314 Riverview Drive, Manitowoc, died Sunday at St. Mary's Home in that city.
She was born June 20, 1899, in the Town of Eaton (Manitowoc County), daughter of Joseph Holzer and Mary Basil.
On June 6, 1921, she married Philip Hartmann at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1962. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1971. Mr. Hartmann died June 17, 1978.
She is survived by two sons, three daughters, a brother, Herman Holzer of St. Nazianz; 16 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 tonight at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th St.,Manitowoc. There will be a prayer service there at 8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Justine Pierce as celebrant. Family rites will be at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
