George Clark Dies at His Home in Kentland
KENTLAND, Ind., Feb. 3. -- George Clark, highly respected citizen of Kentland, passed away at 1 o'clock Monday morning at the family home. He was born near Marion, O., February 1, 1848, and was an old resident of Newton County. On March 7, 1872, he was married to Amanda Wolfe and to this union eight children were born, one having died in infancy. Three daughters preceded him in death, Mrs. Artie Burns, Mrs. Maude Kimbrel and Mrs. Lottie Worsham. Four sons survive, John Samuel, Bennett and Robert all of Kentland.
