Suicide of a Farmer
Special to the Indianapolis Journal.
WINAMAC, Ind.,May 7. -- Sam E. Clark, a wealthy farmer and stock buyer, committed suicide this morning by hanging himself in his cow shed. he climbed to the hay loft and prepared the rope and evidently jumped off. Mr. Clark had lost heavily in stock sales about a year ago, and this is thought to have preyed upon his mind until it became unbalanced. he left a large family.
