KENTLAND, Feb. 16 -- John L. Clark, 74, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in his home here after an illness of two months. born in White County, he married Lillie Peirce in 1899. She survives with a brother, Robert, of Kentland. He was Kentland street commissioner from 1929 to 1949 and had been employed by the Kirkpatrick grocery. He was a member of the Christian church and the K. of P. lodge here.
