Linda Evelyn Foster of Davis Mountains Resort, passed away on Feb. 28, 2013, at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso. She was 58 years old.

Linda was born on Dec. 2, 1954, in Downey, Ca., She was a graduate of Junction City High School in Junction City, Ore., and spent three years in the U.S. Army before studying geology at Sul Ross State University.

Linda is survived by her husband Anthony Foster; children Jason Anderson and wife Jenn, Clemson, N.C.; Benjamin Banton, Alpine; Linda Jo Anderson and husband Jose, Austin; Sarah Harris and husband Jesse, Alpine; Tierney Foster, Fort Davis; stepchildren Tony Foster and wife Cristy, Amarillo; Decee Surratt and husband Slade, Amarillo; Ian Foster, Lubbock; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

She had chosen creamation, which will be handled by Kaster-Maxon Futrell Funderal Home in El Paso.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, March 14, at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Fort Davis.
