Rites for Ira L Baker Arranged
Funeral services for Ira L Baker, 73, retired Enumclaw dairy farmer, will be at 2 o'clock Saturday at Calvary Presbyterian Church, Enumclaw. Burial, under the direction of the Enumclaw Funeral Home, will be in Enumclaw Funeral Park.
Mr Baker died yesterday.
Mr Baker was born in Benedict, Neb. He moved to Enumclaw in 1913. He served in the Marine Corps during the First World War and returned to Enumclaw in 1920.
Before retiring, Mr Baker was active in the Dairy Cooperative in Enumclaw and was president of the Enumclaw Grange.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; four sons, John and Richard, both of Enumclaw; Ira Jr, in Columbia, and Richard Baker, Pullman; a daughter, Mrs Esther Workman, Colfax; a sister, Mrs Pearl Wentz, York, Neb; six brothers, Grant of Charlottesville, Va; Ray of Keenseburg, Colo; Earl of Faybrook, Ill; Oliver of Polk, Neb, and Wayne and Floyd Baker, both of Benedict, and 14 grandchildren.
