OSCAR G. BERGE
Oscar G. Berge, 63, who was born and spent his entire life on the homestead farm in Liberty, died Monday afternoon. He had been in failing health five months.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m., from the Berge home and at two o'clock from the West Valders Lutheran church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Berge was born in Liberty in 1875, and when a young man took over the homestead farm, which he has since operated. In 1899 he married Miss Emma Thompson.
Survivors are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. John A. Larson, Valders, and Mrs. Albert Berge, route 2, Reedsville; son, Earl, Liberty; brother Otto, Valders; and seven grandchildren.
The body will be moved to the Berge home from the Berge under taking parlors Thursday noon.
