She was a native of Brownsville, being a Miss Nichols, before marriage. Her husband died about 20 years ago and she had been since making her home with her son, Samuel Jennings.
Mrs. Jennings was much beloved by all persons of the neighborhood. She was a lifelong member of the German Baptist Church and is survived by the son and a daughter, Mrs. Martha Grim, Brownsville. Geo. Jennings of Iowa also survives.
Services were held at the German Baptist Church, Brownsville; interment was in the graveyard adjoining the church.
