WEST LIBERTY — William C. Anderson, 76, prominent West Liberty farmer, died early Saturday at his home following a long illness.
A resident of this area for 67 years, Anderson was a past national president of the Poland China Assn.; a past president and director of the Rural Electrification Administration Assn., and a member of the national and Iowa Shorthorn Breeders Assn. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Shrine and was active in Farm Bureau work.
Survivors include his widow Ethel; a son, William, West Liberty; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Rogers, Tracy, Minn.; four brothers and two sisters and six grandchildren.
