Clara F. Manor was born November 8, 1907 in Ora Township, Jackson County, to Frank and Anna (Birkner) Sherman.

She married Arthur S. Manor on December 26, 1935 in Ava. He died September 6, 1971.

Mrs. Manor was a retired elementary schoolteacher. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill, and was a former member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Manor died at the age of 83 in Pinckneyvile Community Hospital.
