Mrs. Geraldine Elizabeth Sterner Barnes, 47, of Mercer RD 6 was pronounced dead on arrival Nov. 19, 1984, at United Community Hospital, Grove City, of an apparent heart attack. She was born in Oil City on Jan. 11, 1937, to Samuel J. and Elizabeth Clover Sterner. She is survived by her Husband, Harry B. Sr. They were married Nov. 28, 1952. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Balm United Methodist Church in Blacktown. Also surviving are three sons; a brother; and three grandchildren. A service was held yesterday in the Smith Funeral Home, Volant RD 1 (Leesburg), by the Rev. Russell Shuluga of Balm U.M. Church. Interment was in North Plain Grove Cemetery, Plain Grove Township.
