KENTLAND -- Mrs. Addie E. Montgomery Padgett, 96, of Kentland, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Sheldon Healthcare Center, Sheldon, Illinois.
A lifetime resident of the Kentland area, she was born August 20, 1890. Her marriage was November 25, 1908, in Kentland to Ross Mark Padgett, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Padgett was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Kentland; Women's Society at the church; and a charter member of Friends of Kentland Library.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Genevera P. Carlson and Mrs. Esta M. Stevens, both of Kentland; and a son, Robert M. Padgett of Walkerton.
