Andrews services
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Stark Memorial for Sylvia Andrews, 83, of 1171 E. State St. who died Sunday at 1:08 p.m. at Salem Commuity Hospital where she had been a patient for a day.
Pastor Bruce Irwin of the First United Methodist Church will officate. Burail will be in Grandview Cemetery.
No calling hours will be held.
Mrs. Andrews was born Oct. 30, 1906 in East Fairfield, the daughter of the late Jacob and Lizzie Kyser
She was employed as a nurse's aid at Salem Community Hospital for 28 years, retiring in 1974, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Salem.
She was preceded in death May 8, 1964 by her husband, Velarie J Andrews, whom she married Sept 8, 1923.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Gloria) Baker of Aurora, Ill; and four grandchildren.
