I just ran across a letter from Maude telling me that in 1990 She had open heart surgery and they put a pigs valve in her heart. She said she almost did not make it. She was in the hospital of 47 days. When they let her go home her regular doctor put her back in the hospital to get her off some of the medications. He told her she was taking enough medication to kill a horse.

This is my sister-in-law. I have many wonderful memories of visiting with her and Clarence and sitting down at their table which would be like a feast for a Sunday dinner. They were sweethearts, both her and Clarence are dearly missed. Maude MAY YOU REST IN ETERNAL PEACE DEAR SISTER.
