Leoma was born on February 21, 1921 in Lee Co., NC to the late Wade and Minnie Kaiser Coley. She was preceded in death by her husband William Delmar Smith.
Mrs. Smith enjoyed spending time working with the children of her church. She was a avid quilter. She enjoyed making scarves and toboggans.
She is survived by her son: William "Bill" Smith, Jr. and wife Sheree of Asbury , NC. Two daughters: Judy Smith Hedgpeth and husband Steve of Randalman, NC and Joy Smith Scott and husband Tommy of Sanford, NC. Also survived by grandchildren Brian Hedgpeth and wife Nicole of Asheboro, NC; Joel Hedgpeth of Asheboro, NC; Ashleigh Kilby and husband Matthew of Pittsboro, NC and Donny Smith and wife Erin of Goldston, NC; Step-grandchildren Kathy Shollars of Sanford, NC; Lance Powers and wife Misty of Sanford, NC; Reeanan Powers of Sanford, NC. Great Granddaughter Maeson Smith; step great grandchildren; Gracie, Ethan and Kolton; Sister-in-Laws; Lenora Seagroves and Joann Coley; Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her beloved companion Yorkie "Spencer".
