Kenneth E. Augsburger, 88, of Muncie, IN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Adams County, IN, the son of Chris and Ida (Fox) Augsburger. He married Helen Habegger on October 5, 1946 in Berne, IN.

He was an upholsterer at Berne Furniture in Berne, IN, and owner of Kenny's Upholstery in Fort Wayne from 1972 to 1998. Kenneth is a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Muncie, and he served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, and a grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Garden View Funeral Home, Muncie, with one hour visitation before the service. Rev. Neil Habegger will officiate the service. Viewing will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions can be made to the ABWE Ministry for Ken and Alice Cole, and Heritage Hall Christian School for Andy Habegger Memorial Scholarship Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
