Clyde B. Augsburger, 86, of Berne, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born on May 16, 1926 in Hartford Township to Chris and Ida(Fox) Augsburger. He was married to Shirley Burmeister on August 23, 1948.

He served in the Philippines and Japan during WW II. Clyde worked at Berne Furniture Co. for 45 years. He was a member of the Grace Bible Church where he served as an elder and a Sunday school teacher.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Sue(David) Collins of Cincinnati, OH,; Sally(Roland) DeRenzo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Pamela(Lonnie) Evans of Alpharetta, Ga; three sisters, Florine Sprunger, Vera Augsburger, and Violet Lehman, brother, Ken Augsburger; five grandhildren, Micah(Shane)Collins; Chris DeRenzo; Michelle(Jeremy) Soronen; Alex Evans, and Hannah Evans; and four great-grandchildren, Elijah, Gideon, Ezekiel, and Judah Collins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sisters.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 19 from 12:30 p.m. to time of services at 2 p.m. at the Swiss Village Chapel. Officiating is Dr. Roland DeRenzo. Burial is in the M.R.E. Cemetery, Berne.
