Stockbridge – Mrs. August Ecker died at her home near here Monday. She had been in ill health for some time but was not confined to her bed until the past two weeks.
Mrs. Ecker was born in Johnsburg, Oct. 22, 1898, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Simon and was married Nov. 15, 1920 to August Ecker. The couple resided at Stockbridge.
Besides her husband, survivors include seven children, all at home; Jerome, Arthur, Lucy, Elsie, Paul, Fred, Clara; her mother, Mrs. P. Simon, Johnsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Watry, Stockbridge; Mrs. Joe Wirth, Milwaukee; Miss Clara Simon, Fond du Lac.
Funeral services were held this morning at St. Mary’s church, Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rev. Gonnering officiated.
