Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Nate Pierce [sic] at the M. E. church. Mrs. Pierce died at her home in Rosendale. She was formerly Mandy Shores and spent her girlhood days just west of Fillmore. She leaves her husband, one daughter and one son, two brothers and one sister and many relatives and friends. Burial was in the Fillmore cemetery.
