Virgil Paul Bixler, 84, Eldorado Springs, MO passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at his home. Virgil was born Nov. 24, 1928 near Waynoka, OK to Roy Valentine and Gertie May Bixler. On June 14, 1943, Virgil married E. Grace Quinn in Medicine Lodge, KS. Virgil was a district manager in the Perishable Traffic Development Department of Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Southern Kansas Country Club Assoc.
Virgil was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Bixler on Oct. 18, 2005. He is survived by his three children, there spouses; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, Feb. 15 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; entombment in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
