Joe Merritt Jr of 1105 S 2nd Street, Terre Haute passed away at St Anthony Hospital, Terre Haute at 12:30 pm on Thursday, July 24, 1941 at the age of 23 days. He died due to prematurity. His informant was his mother Annamae Merritt. His funeral was conducted by A.O. Gillis & Sons Funeral Home, Terre Haute with burial on Monday, July 25, 1941 in Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute. No headstone & is buried next to his Paternal Grandparents Joseph Henry & Nellie (Barrett) Merritt.
