ANDERSON

John Anderson died at the Chariton Manor, December 8, 1975. He had been in declining health for several years, but death came unexpectedly.

John was the son of Swedish immigrant parents, Gustaf and Christine Anderson. He was born in Drury Township, Rock Island County, Ill. June 2, 1880.

He migrated to Lucas County in 1910. On April 30, 1920 he was united in marriage to Effie Gilbert. To this union three children were born.

In 1925 he and his family moved to the Humeston area where he spent the rest of his life.

He was the last surviving member of a family of eight children. An infant son preceded him in death.

Surviving are his widow; son Everett and wife Roberta; daughter Dorothy and husband Ralph Boyce; also five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Roy E. Jones o Humeston, at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, at the Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
