Mary Isabelle Moore was born January 12, 1953, at Oskaloosa, Iowa, and passed away August 18, at her home four miles west of Hennessey. She was 62 years, 8 months and 6 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Eli Robinson May 27th, 1868, at Eddyville,Iowa. Twelve children were born to this union, six sons of whom are living and six daughters, three dying in infancy.
Mrs. C.T. McKeever, of this place, Mrs. A.C. Tingley of Anadarko, Mrs. E.C. Bailey, of Enid, J.G. Robinson of Ellicott, Colo., Rue, Earl and William Robinson, of this place, was present at the funeral. Fred Robinson, of Fort Casey, Wash., arrived too late for the funeral. Ed. Golden, B.C. was not able to come.
She was converted to the Lord in 1877 and lived a beautiful Christian life till her death.
She, with her husband and children moved from Wichita, Kansas, to Hennessey in 1889. She was loved by all who knew her.
The funeral services were held at the home, Rev. T.J. Hickman of Oklahoma City, officiating. She was laid to rest in the Hennessey cemetery to await the coming of the Life-Giver.
