Graveside services for Mr. Acie C. Askins, 80, of Rossville, Georgia, will be today at 1:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Askins died Monday in a Chattanooga hospital.
He was a native of Lincoln County
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie B. Askins of Rossville, Georgia; two daughters, Mrs. Doris A. Douglas of Rossville and Mrs. Barbara Lanwasser of Woodbridge, Virginia; a son, James G. Askins of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Higgins Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
