Aunt Maria Crawford lies very low at the home of her step-son Aaron Crawford. At this writing she is slowly sinking away. It is with profound regret that the community receives this sad news.

Death of Mrs. Crawford
Mrs. Mariah Crawford passed away at the Lome of her step-son, Aaron Crawford Monday night at twelve o'clock at which place she was taken about three weeks ago when her health began to fail. On Saturday she suffered a stroke of paralysis which caused her death. Mrs. Crawford was a good, kind neighbor, a loyal friend and a loving sister and will be greatly missed not only by her relatives but by her many friends. She was about seventy-six years of age and leaves three sisters, Mrs. Chas. Macy of Bucklin, Mrs. Geo. Crawford, Mrs. Harve Long of this community and one brother, M. Bowman. Funeral services were held Wednesday at two o'clock.
