PROMINENT ENGINEER
OF PENNSY IS DEAD

John F. Eckenrode, aged 64 years, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 1312 Liberty Street. Death was caused by complications. He was an engineer on the Philadelphia Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

The funeral service on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Francis Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph R. Murphy will officiate. Burial will be made in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. He is survived by the following children; Herbert P., Francis, Gilbert and Veronica Eckenrode and Mrs. A. C. Wenerick. He was a member of the Knights of St. George, the Holy Name Society; St. Vincent De Paul Society and the Brotherhood of Fireman and Engineers 174, Pennsylvania Railroad Relief.
