Mrs Herron was born May 9, 1894 in Bamberg, a daughter of the late Richard Creech and Mrs Lizzie Sanders Creech. She was a member of Southside Chapel. She died Thursday in a local hospital
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Campie H Williams, and Mrs Joseph E Roberts, both of Charleston, Mrs Corbett Davis and Mrs C Lester Cain, both of Charleston Heights, five sons, Otis Dalma Herron and Charles H Herron, both of Charleston Heights, Reuben E Herron of Charleston, Jack S Herron of Savannah and the Rev James W Herron of Wilson, NC; three sisters, Mrs Estelle Knight of Orangeburg; Mrs William Carr and Mrs Rhett Berry, both of St George; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
