Minnie was the daughter of Julius Ferrier (Laferriere) and Marceline Denesha.

In 1889, in Morrisburg Ontario, Minnie married James Richardson Bayne. They were the parents of Gladys Margaret and George Frederick. Sadly James died in 1895, only 28 years old.
Minnie married again in Montreal in 1904, widower Richard Duke Anglin, together they had a son Richard Sidney.

Son George Frederick is remembered on the headstone in Kemptville, but is buried in Montreal.
