Frank Griffin, 41 year old livestock buyer and trucker, died suddenly at his home at 138 West Springfiled Street here Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. Death was due to a heart attack.
Funeral services are to be conducted at the First Baptist Church here Sunday afternnon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Fred McPhail will preach the funeral sermon, and burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery under the direction of the King Funeral Home.
The body will be taken to the home at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon and will lie in state there until shortly before the funeral.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Opal Griffin; one daughter, Nita Lee Griffin, 16 years old; a brother, Harry Griffin, of Aurora; and six sisters, Mrs. Claude Clanton and Mrs. Hiram Hilton of Aurora, Mrs. Biney Johnson of Reeds Spring, Mrs. Charles Johnson of Galena, Mrs. Lee Akin of McAllen, Texas, and Mrs. W. R. Smith of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
