Nita Lee Griffin Donica, 79, Monett died Friday, January 29, 2010 at Cox South, Springfield. She was born April 4, 1930 in Aurora to Frank and Opal (Hutchison) Griffin. She graduated from Aurora High School in 1949.
She married Charles Donica October 9, 1948 in Aurora. He survives. They owned and operated Gliedt Paint and Wallpaper in Monett for 23 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Monett.
Additional survivors incude two daughters: Pam Bartkoski, Monett and Sue Pierce, Lenexa, Kansas; two grandsons; and three great-grandsons.
Graveside services were Tuesday, February 2 at Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora with the Rev. Arnold Ray Evans officiating under direction of Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City.
