Nellie Gremmer

Nellie Gremmer, 74, of Laurel, died at her home Monday morning, Dec. 9, 1991.
She was born May 24, 1917 at Palermo, N.D., a daughter of James and Bertina Brooks.
The family moved to Custer when she was about 12 years old.
She graduated from Custer High School.

On Oct. 19, 1936, she married Harold Gremmer in Hardin, MT.
They moved to laurel in 1940.
Mr. Gremmer preceded her in death in 1978.

Mrs. Gremmer was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She also loved birds.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Andrews of Billings, MT., and beverly Harper of Whitefish, MT.; two sosns, Henry Gremmer and Bill Gremmer of Laurel, MT.; a brother Jack Brooks of Billings; four grandchildren; and three great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Smith-Cashmore memorial Chapel in Laurel.

Interment will be in the Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT.

Memorials are suggested to a charity of choice.
