Aged Lady Passed Away Saturday Evening as Result of Broken Hip
Mrs. Eliza Jane Flippo, on the oldest residents of Hancock county, died Saturday evening at her home in this city.
The funeral will be at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. M.S. Decker.
Mrs. Flippo was about eighty-seven years old, the widow of Al Flippo, former county and city treasurer. Mr. and Mrs. Flippo had no children. They reared Mrs. William Davey and took great interest in others. She is survived by one brother, Willis Leary, two half-brothers, James and Bud Leary, and a half-sister, Mrs. Sarah (Leary) Maroska.
Interment will be made in Park Cemetery.
