Finan E. Dickey, 87, of Houston went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 28, 2003.
He was born November 16, 1915 in Alto, Texas to William and Pearl Dickey. Finan served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and was a member of the V.F.W. in Baytown. He was a carpenter by trade and retired from the Brown and Root Company. Finan enjoyed woodworking, building and remodeling things, and at one time built a log home.
Finan is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Dickey, three brothers, Vernon, Leonard and Robert Dickey and one sister, Freddie Stanley.
His loving daughter, Kimberly Osborn and husband Douglas of Houston; one granddaughter, Brooke Osborn of Houston; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive Finan.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2003 at White Cemetery in Highlands. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.
