On June 19, 1836 the undersigned priest baptized Francois (Francis) of the lawful marrige of Jean (John) Dunan, farmer, and Anne Flanigan of this parish. Godfather Jean (John) Flanigan and Catherine Flanigan.

According to George Doonan, his great grandfather, Francis Doonan was born in Quebec and eventually moved to Boston. He believes he worked at Henry Longfellow's house/farm in Cambridge, Mass where he met and married Eliza Smith who was a maid at the home. Eliza was born and raised in Ireland. She came to Boston as a young lady. The married, lived in Boston for a few years and bought a farm in southern New Hampshire.

Died from Cerebral Apoplexy.
