Della C. Sutton, 91, Medco Health Center, died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1989, in the facility.
She was born Feb. 5, 1898, in Tipton County, the daughter of Joseph M. and Mary Ellen (Swisher)Shackelford. In 1956, in South Bend, she married Jesse W. Sutton, who died Feb. 20, 1967.
She moved to Mishawaka from Kokomo in 1942 and retired from Uniroyal in 1957 after 15 years of service. Sutton was a member of Donmoyer Church of Christ in South Bend.
Surviving are a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. A Son preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
