Frank served with Company E, 4th Regiment, Iowa Volunteers. He enlisted 15 July 1861 as a Private, 32 yrs old. He gave his residence as Warren Co., Iowa

The area of Morgan Co. he was born in was used to form Noble Co. on 11 Mar 1851.

Frank married Malissa Isabell Horn on 27 August 1864 in Cairo, Alexander Co., Illinois.

She was born 23 Aug 1845 in Madisonville, Indiana; died 2 Feb 1928 in Cairo, Alexander Co., Illinois. She is buried in Mounds, Pulaski Co., Illinois. We have not determined the actual cemetery yet. Would suspect also at Beechwood Cemetery.
