Eva Jeannette Reddin, 89, passed away January 12, 2013 at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson, Indiana following a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on February 9, 1923, the daughter of Max and Ethel Hurd.

She graduated from Elwood High School and went to work at Delco Remy in Anderson, Indiana in January 1943.

She married her best friend and love of her life, George Robert Reddin on June 16, 1946 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Anderson.

Mrs. Reddin enjoyed reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles and board games. She loved spending time with her family and friends along with travel here and abroad.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Bob Reddin; two sons, Larry Robert and Michael Lee Reddin and her brother, Max Hurd along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mildred, Ruby, Irene and Carolyn; and her grandson, Mark Alan Reddin.

The family would like to thank Monticello House and Community Northview staff for their excellent and loving care.

A private family memorial will be held later this year.
