Richard Richardsonwas first married Jincy Brock in Franklin County, Missouri, in 1822.

...Following Jincey's death in about 1828. Richard married Charlotte Cooper in 1831. His known children by Jincy Brock were Emily Richardson, (1824-1907) from whom I descend, and Robert Miller Richardson, (1828-1892).

Richard's known children by Charlotte Cooper were Richard J. Richardson, Josephine Richardson, and James Wiley Richardson.
