Hallie Sharp, 86, of Wise Road, Campbellsville, died at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 1997 in Campbellsville after an illness. Daughter of the late Grant Milby and Helen Milby Chaudoin, she was born in Green County, Ky. on July 17, 1910. Sharp was a member of Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church, and was married to Thomas R. Sharp April 29, 1924, who preceded her in death Oct. 28, 1979. Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine Myers, Florine Colvin and Ann Sprowles, all of Campbellsville; five sons, Bill Sharp, Riley Sharp, Virgil Sharp and Jimmie Sharp, all of Campbellsville, and David Sharp of Lebanon; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three half-sisters, Canilla Williams of Greensburg, Arlene Shepherd of Shepherdsville and Joyce Marr of Summersville; one half-brother, Garland Chaudoin of Summersville; and several other relatives. She was also preceded in death by one daughter and one son, Christine Milby on May 10, 1969, and Elwood Sharp on Dec. 4, 1995; two grandsons, Greg Sharp on April 15, 1997,, and Todd Sharp on Oct. 17, 1966; and one sister, Lera DeSpain. Funeral was at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Elder Rueal Boils and Bro. Ben Spencer. Burial was in Hogard's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lynn Colvin, Jerry Myers, Timmy Myers, Bobby Sharp, Gary Sharp, Michael Sharp, Randall Sharp, Ricky Sharp, Ronnie Sharp, Terry Sharp, Tommy Sharp, Troy Sharp and Steve Sprowles.
