TWO IN BIDDISON FAMILY AT SPARTA DIE ON WEDNESDAY - Funeral Services to Be Held Friday and Saturday Afternoons
SPARTA, Wis - (Special) - Death came into the Biddison family in Sparta twice in five hours on Wednesday morning. James Biddison and Mrs. Earl Biddison both passed away. James Biddison who was 85 last July, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Ellis, at 2:20 a.m., after a lingering illness. He was a native of Ohio. His wife, who was Mary Ellen Crook of Viroqua, died about ten years ago. Four children survive, Mrs. Walter Ellis, Mrs. John Grutsch and Earl Biddison, of Sparta, and Miss Ethel Biddison of La Crosse. There are four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:45 at the home of Walter Ellis on Central avenue, and 4 o'clock at the Methodist church. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Earl Biddison died Wednesday morning at 7:45 o'clock at the Madison general hospital. An operation was performed Monday; Mrs. Biddison was formerly Miss Vera Folts of Sparta. She was married to Earl Biddison 25 years ago. They have one son, Donald J. Biddison. for several years Mrs. Biddison was matron of the Monroe county farm. She was deputy of the Royal Neighbors of America. The husband and son survive. The body was brought back from Madison Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at the Ellis home, and 2 o'clock at the Methodist church. interment will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery.
