Edith Bancroft, aged 9 years died at the residence of her parents Mr. an Mrs. George Bancroft, Saturday after a sickness of about two weeks with malarial fever. The funeral took place at the family residence Sunday afternoon where many neighbors and friends of the family assembled to pay their last respects to all that was earthly of little Edith. The interment was in Greenup Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Michaels, Mrs. Thorton, son and daughter of Johnstown, Mr and Mrs O.F. Nash of Mattoon attended the funeral.
