He was a retired plumber with the Army Corps of Engineers, Bluemont, Va. He was a member of First United Church, Brunswick. He was a wood craftsman, known to many in the tri-state area.
Surviving are daughter, Jean Mullen; son, W. Ellsworth Cooper, Brunswick; three sisters, Marian Miller, Bethesda, Helen Cooper and Elsie Cooper, both of Brunswick; two brothers, Austin Cooper, Frederick and Newton Cooper, Berryville, Va.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the John T. William Funeral Home, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
