On the 4th last, SAMUEL RICHARDS, aged 73. Funeral from his late residence, No. 347 Arch street, this morning at 9 o'clock, The funeral will proceed to the Central Presbyterian Church, in Eighth above Arch street, where the funeral service will take place, and thence proceed to Laurel Hill.

He was an extensive iron manufacturer in NJ. His 1st marriage (18NOV1797) was to Mary Morgan (10MAR1770 - 1820), widow of John Morgan [son of Gen. Jacob Morgan] and dau. of William T Smith (1734 23FEB1812) prominent Phila. merchant. His second marriage (08OCT1822) was to Anna Maria Witherspoon (1783-1855), widow of Thomas Witherspoon and dau. of Burling Martin of New York.
