Katie Irene Seitz (parents unknown) married 15 March 1937, to Ralph Enoch Hill. Ralph and Kate had no children.

The summer of 1951 I (Phillip H. Pitzer) worked for both Uncle Frank and Uncle Ralph, they farmed together. I stayed nights with Uncle Frank mostly. I remember when I did stay with Uncle Ralph, that he and Aunt Katie milked many cows, by hand, twelve to sixteen as I remembered. Aunt Katie was as good a milker as was Uncle Ralph, but I never did get the hang of it. As I remember Ralph had asthma or hay fever, he could not be around dust, it caused him to cough and be short of breath. So the summer of 1951 the hard work, stacking of hay bales, shoveling of wheat or plowing a dusty field was left for Uncle Frank or me.

Ralph died on July 29, 1981 from an inoperable malignant brain tumor. Katie died on March 14, 1983, following complications of Chemotherapy treatments taken after cancer surgery. Katie and Ralph had no children. They are buried together in Memorial Park Cemetery, west of Hutchinson, Kansas. Their burial site is just across the little sidewalk from Ralph's sister Bessie Ann (Hill) Pitzer.
