Mrs. Anna Maria Baker, wife of J. Calvin Baker, died suddenly of heart failure this morning at 7.15 o'clock, at her home on Sixth street, aged 50 years. She had been in ill health for some time and this morning while in the backyard at her home she suddenly fell forward and died. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Weibley) Swartz and was born in Cumberland County, November 4, 1859. She and Mr. Baker were married in August, 1886. He and two sons, Ralph E. and John W., survive her. She leaves two brothers, William of Saville and Charles of this place. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. The funeral will be on Saturday at 3 p. m.; services at the house and interment in Newport cemetery.
