Emma Hazel Ryan, age 88, of Cohutta, departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ryan II; parents, John H. and Ida Coker; son, Edward (Terry) Ryan; brothers, Roy and Ray Coker; sisters, Alean Coker Carroll and Louise Stephens Livingood; brothers-in-law, Lamar Overton, O.T. Stephens, Don Allred, William Corless, Dewey Townsend; sisters-in-law, Catherine Coker, Mary Coker, Margie Coker, Louise Tims Coker, and Mollie Townsend.
She is survived by her daughter, Janie Alean Boyce of Cohutta; daughter-in law, Susan Ryan of Winder, GA.; sister, Nellie Overton of Dalton; brothers, Leon Coker of Cohutta, Earl Coker of Chatsworth and George Vernon Coker of Cohutta; grandchildren, Phyllis Ryan, Joseph Ryan, Edward Ryan, Jerald Ryan, and Melissa Wilson; great grandchildren, Madison Taylor, Sydney and Dawson Ryan, Payton and Nicholas Ryan, Jayden and Daniel Wilson, and Olivia Boyce; great-great grand children Elijah and Gabriel Taylor; and much loved nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday December 29, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. John Bagley officiating. Burial will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
