Laura Aufdembrink, age 88, of Freistatt, MO, went to her heavenly home on Thursday evening, December 20, 2012.
She was born August 15, 1924, the daughter of Theodore and Minna (Freie) Aufdembrink of Freistatt.
She lived her entire life on the family farm in the Freistatt community and was active in working on the farm and homemaking. Laura was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, she was active in the Ladies Aid, the Altar Guild and in the community.
Laura is survived by two sisters, Edna Bergemann and husband Ed, of St. Paul, MN and Gladys Anna and husband Donald, of Severna Park, MD; eight nieces; six nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Arthur, Edward, James, Alvin and Benjamin.
Funeral services for Miss Aufdembrink will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt with Reverend Ryan Buchmueller officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are being directed to the Trinity Lutheran Radio Broadcast, Trinity Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
